Manchester United players sad to see Marouane Fellaini go

Manchester United stars were seen posting all over social media their well wishes to Marouane Fellaini after his move to China.

The Belgian completed his transfer on deadline day, ending his stay at Old Trafford permanently with fans having mixed feelings towards him.

Though everyone is in agreement Fellaini should leave, some felt he was a complete professional throughout his time at United and always gave his all.

Others felt the midfielder was never fit to wear the famous red shirt in a similar way to how David Moyes wasn’t fit to fill in Sir Alex Ferguson’s boots.

Nonetheless, the players of the club have made it clear how they feel about Marouane leaving, wishing him well for his future.

It’s pretty damning how more players sent messages (at least publicly) to Fellaini than they did to Jose Mourinho when he was sacked.

Plenty pointed out how pretty much none of the Manchester United stars wished the Portuguese manager well with some fans even criticising their manners.

Some supporters believed it was even more evidence that the players didn’t want to play for Mourinho any longer and they disrespected the badge by downing their tools.

Either way, one can’t help but feel the transfer of Marouane and the renewal of Anthony Martial‘s contract is the end of one era and the beginning of another.
