Manchester United were delighted to see Ole Gunnar Solskjaer deservedly win the official Premier League ‘Manager of the Month’ award for January.
The Norwegian, whose side has won nine out of ten games since he took over, claimed three league wins and one draw over January, along with beating Arsenal 3-1 in the FA Cup.
Solskjaer becomes the first Man United manager since Sir Alex Ferguson to win the award, and has done so in his opening month as caretaker manager.
Supporters were quick to shower the 45-year-old with praise following a truly superb start to life as United boss.
Loving the fact that's he's posing with his backroom team as well! #olegunnarsolskjaer

Solskjaer has made a genuinely compelling case to become United’s next permanent manager.
His actions have been largely simple but salutary: pace and direction has returned to United’s play, key players are smiling again, and results against lesser teams are what they should be.
Witnessing the transition away from the misery of Jose Mourinho to the beaming hopefulness of Solskjaer has been nothing short of cathartic, for fans and players alike.
Whether Solskjaer becomes favourite for the full-time gig depends strongly on what happens over the next month, during which United play Paris Saint Germain home and away, Liverpool at home, and Chelsea away. He has the chance to secure his dream job.
