The win against PSG saw Manchester United enter the history books as well, becoming the first team to overturn a 2-0 defeat at home in a two legged tie of the Champions League.
Much of that was owed to Romelu Lukaku who showed a fantastic poacher’s instinct to grab two goals to drag his side back into the contest.
Solskjaer himself also deserves credit for his tactical nous as he changed United’s formation a few times during the match to suit his needs.
The Red Devils played a 4-4-2, 3-5-2, 4-5-1 and 4-2-4 all in the same match in order to do all they can to defeat PSG.
