Manchester United have reportedly joined the race to sign Chelsea star Callum Hudson-Odoi as they target a summer squad overhaul.
The youngster has been the talk of the season at Stamford Bridge as many fans have been confused why he hasn’t been handed more minutes given his quality.
Hudson-Odoi was impressive in cameo appearance for England in their 5-0 humiliation of Czech Republic.
United were then quickly linked with his signature and it’s no surprise given his potential.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is also said to be interested in bringing in a right-winger so the Blues star does represent the ideal signing.
According to the Daily Mail, the Red Devils have joined the race for Callum and will have to fight off the likes of Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich and Liverpool for his signature.
The teenager’s current contract runs out in 2020 which would likely mean any transfer fee involved would be relatively minimal.
Hudson-Odoi has also failed to agree to terms over a new contract which has left Chelsea fans sweating.
It’s possible the transfer news has come out over night in a bid for the versatile attacker to get the contract he’s after.
However, the report does fit Manchester United’s narrative so it wouldn’t be too surprising if their interest is genuine.
