Manchester United are in for a whirlwind summer after reports emerged PSG have approached them for one of their stars.
Ander Herrera has recently confirmed his decision to leave the club on a free transfer this summer and while it’s not official yet, it is expected he left for the French champions.
United can’t afford to lose another one of their players as they were meant to spend the transfer window bringing some in, not letting some go.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has the huge task of bringing the lacklustre squad back to the high standards of his former boss Sir Alex Ferguson.
The Norwegian was believed to be looking into signing five players with one of them a direct replacement for Herrera. However, he may have to make it six.
Out of every player Manchester United could afford to lose, David de Gea is certainly not one of them.
Though some may be concerned with Paul Pogba’s potential departure as well, the Spaniard is arguably the club’s only world-class player.
Losing De Gea would cost United far too much as bringing in a replacement will not only be expensive but the player brought in will likely be of lesser quality.
