Manchester United to attempt new method to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka: report

Manchester United have reportedly stepped up their efforts to sign Crystal Palace star Aaron Wan-Bissaka as they look to continue talks for his signature.

The Englishman has proven to be a hard signing to conclude but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is adamant on getting his target.

United are said to have already had a £40m bid rejected and they are gearing up for a second go with a £50m bid.

However, it appears the London club aren’t only looking to increase the asking price but are also looking for something else from Solskjaer’s side.

Fans will certainly be hoping this could finally end the saga surrounding Wan-Bissaka and the club could get their man.

According to the Guardian, Palace are interested in removing a sell-on clause from Wilfried Zaha’s contract in order to smooth over a move for Aaron to the Red Devils.

It definitely makes sense from Crystal Palace’s side to attempt such a thing as the Ivorian is expected to depart for a large sum this summer.

Should this be the case then they would receive all of the income rather than having to part with some of it for Manchester United.

However, for Ole it would be a double whammy of having to spend extra on Wan-Bissaka while missing out on a potentially decent fee coming in for them that might’ve made the move for the youngster more acceptable in the first place.
