Juventus end Paul Pogba interest and turn attentions towards other signings

Manchester United fans may be able to breathe easy after Juventus reportedly end their interest in Paul Pogba.

The Frenchman was said to be keen on a return to Italy despite Real Madrid’s well documented efforts to bring him in themselves.

The midfielder had admitted it would be a dream to play under Zinedine Zidane but perhaps nostalgia got the better of him with the Serie A giants.

However, Juventus are now believed to no longer be interested in signing Pogba which leaves Madrid as the only serious contender for his signature.

United are said to be asking for £150m, meaning most clubs would have to raise a significant amount of money before even being in consideration.

According to the Daily Mail, De Telegraaf report that Juventus have ended their pursuit of Paul as they close in on Matthijs de Ligt and free signing Adrien Rabiot.

It would make sense for the Serie A side to target the PSG man as they would improve their midfield without spending which would allow them to invest in other positions.

Paul would essentially break Juventus’ finances and given how they spent around £100m on bringing Cristiano Ronaldo in last summer, it’s just not something they can really afford.
