Manchester United star Romelu Lukaku may yet join Inter Milan after reports emerged of their efforts to offer a big money deal.
The Belgian has been linked with a transfer to the Serie A giants all summer long after admitting it would be a dream to one day play in the league as well as claiming Antonio Conte was the best manager in the world.
United are said to be not actively looking to sell the striker and so will only consider a deal that suits their needs.
Lukaku has had a decent time at Old Trafford so far but it’s clear he’s not happy playing second fiddle to Marcus Rashford.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer certainly prefers the youngster and at the moment it’s difficult to envision a future for the former Everton man.
According to the Daily Mail, Inter wish to sign Romelu on a two year loan deal worth £10m with an obligation to buy for £55m after although the Red Devils are expected to reject the offer as they look for a straight cash bid.
Selling the former Chelsea man would mean Solskjaer needs to reinvest it in another striker but it’s tough to think of a top forward who is available to join this summer.
