Some Manchester United fans have called for RB Salzburg’s Erling Braut Haland to be signed after his latest display in the Champions League.
The sensational teenager is quickly emerging as one of football’s top prospects and given Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s ties to him, it was only a matter of time before the rumours start.
The legendary Norwegian handed Haland his debut at Molde before both parties split for their now new clubs, leaving some United fans to speculate that would help with the transfer.
Of course given how in-form Haland has been of late and how he’s making all the headlines, it’s likely Salzburg won’t sell for cheap.
In fact, some media outlets have claimed around an £80m price-tag has been set on him ahead of what will be a difficult transfer window.

Manchester United are in desperate need of depth and quality in their attack but signing Haland would beg the question of what it means for Anthony Martial.
After all, Solskjaer isn’t going to break the bank only to have the young Norwegian sitting on the bench as cover.
Marcus Rashford‘s future may also be a little affected but it’s safe to say most fans would agree by now that he’s not a striker and is better off as a left-winger.
