Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants Manchester United to target Erling Braut Haaland, Timo Werner and Callum Wilson over the January transfer window, according to reports.
The club has placed a strong emphasis on signing a striker over the January transfer window following the departures of Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez over the summer.
Reports have linked Man United with a move for Mario Mandzukic, considered surplus to requirements at Juventus, but this transfer does not seem likely to happen any longer.
Instead, as reported in the Evening Standard, Solskjaer wants United to target Haaland, who has 26 goals in all competitions already this term.
The Norwegian, valued at £85m, was given his debut at Molde by Solskjaer and is valued at £85m. United’s interest in the player is genuine.
However, United are considering other options, with Werner serving as another option. The German, who has 11 goals in as many Bundesliga games this term, flirted with the idea of leaving Red Bull Leipzig over the summer and looks likely to be on the market once again next year.
Wilson, viewed as the cheaper option, seems less likely, with the Englishman recently making it clear that he was happy at AFC Bournemouth.
