Bruno Fernandes responds to crashing out of the Champions League

by Marwan Harraz

Manchester United fans will love what Bruno Fernandes posted in the wake to the defeat to RB Leipzig the past Tuesday.

The Portuguese magician couldn’t save his side from crashing out of the Champions League in stunning fashion despite all his efforts.

United fans were distraught by the result as they had started their campaign brilliantly with back to back convincing wins vs PSG and Leipzig.

Needing just four points from four matches to get to the next round, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men collapsed, losing three matches to find themselves dropping to the Europa League.

Leipzig ran riot vs the Red Devils to get a strong 3-0 lead and despite some late revival, the legendary Norwegian couldn’t muster up more than a 3-2 loss.

Manchester United fans will love what Bruno said not just because it’s true but also because it came from the heart.

During some of the worst periods of Jose Mourinho’s reign, the club and it’s stars actually stopped using social media to an extent because of the backlash they were getting.

United supporters were so sick of hearing their stars apologise and say “let’s move on” only to drop the same performance in the next match.

It’s why Bruno’s words are a refreshing change of pace and one that fans will certainly appreciate.
