Peter Crouch insists Manchester United players would be making fun of Paul Pogba

Peter Crouch has revealed just what the Manchester United dressing room think of Paul Pogba in the wake of the transfer drama that has happened recently.

The French talent’s agent Mino Raiola came out publicly, claiming his client was no longer happy at the club and should be sold in January.

The comments were made on the eve of United’s crucial clash with RB Leipzig and fans were furious with the timing and subsequent result.

Pogba has since posted on social media, along with Raiola, calling on fans to not pay attention to the ‘bla bla bla’ of the media.

However, the pair were referencing a piece that was published claiming the World Cup winner was going to fire his agent if he couldn’t find a way out of the club and did not mention anything about the previous comments.

According to the Daily Mail, Crouch said: “I hear from plenty of people, David, that Pogba is well-liked in the United squad.

“I also hear that he has never been a problem in training and continues to do his work, so I don’t expect there will be one issue with his team-mates.

“If anything, I’d say they will be taking the p*** out of him.

“Players don’t tend to notice to someone’s agent speaking in the media. The issue would come if the player downed tools, started treating other colleagues disrespectfully and failed to show up on time for training.

“If an individual crosses that line, it is a long way back.

“United’s players will not be losing sleep about Mino Raiola’s comments, but the one thing that needs to happen for the club is for this situation to be sorted. It’s a sideshow and a clean break would be best for all.”

Fans will be hoping Crouch is right and that the Red Devils’ dressing room were and are not displeased with Pogba just for the sake of maintaining harmony in the squad.

However, his words come in conflict with reports that claimed the players were not happy with the timing of Raiola’s comments.

After all, Manchester United would soon be knocked out of the Champions League by RB Leipzig, losing 3-2 in the crucial fixture.
