Video: Manchester United dazzle with team goal vs Sheffield United

by Marwan Harraz

Manchester United’s 3-2 win over Sheffield United may suggest a tight affair but the tie was actually more in control for the former than it appears.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men had some brilliant bits of play and arguably should’ve won the crucial clash by a bigger scoreline.

In truth, United only played poorly in the first five or so minutes at the beginning of the match and at the end.

At both periods they conceded and looked shaky but for the rest of the 80 minutes, they were in control and scoring some sexy goals.

Marcus Rashford‘s second and the Red Devils third, in particular, had fans celebrating wildly after some neat play.

It was good to see Paul Pogba confident enough to dig into his bag of tricks and it’s even better when it leads to the dazzling goal that’s shown above.

Manchester United have long been billed, even by neutrals, to be the best counter-attacking team in the country and it’s easy to see why.

As good as the goal was, counter-attacking wasn’t the only method used to beat Sheffield and Solskjaer’s men deserve more credit for their more complete display.

Hopefully Manchester United can win more comfortably in the future and put on a scoreline that reflects their performance.
