Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes has been hailed by fans plenty of times and deservedly so, particularly after this latest impressive statistic has come to light.
The Portuguese magician handed his side all three points vs Aston Villa, scoring the winner after Paul Pogba won the penalty.
The Birmingham side pushed United all the way but thanks to Bruno and his teammates, they came out on top in what was a crucial fixture.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men now sit level with Liverpool on points and appear to be in a strong position to mount a title challenge.
It’s safe to say Bruno has been talismanic for the Red Devils since joining last January and prior to his arrival, a title challenge didn’t even seem possible.
33 – Tonight was Bruno Fernandes' 30th Premier League appearance, with his penalty the 33rd goal he's been directly involved in (19 goals, 14 assists). The only player in Premier League history to be involved in more goals in their first 30 games is Andrew Cole (37). Talisman. pic.twitter.com/sa5DSOQoW5

Bruno’s influence in the dressing room has been well-documented as well so he’s not just talismanic on the field, but off it as well.
Many of those behind the scenes attribute the change in mentality in the squad to the former Sporting Lisbon man and Harry Maguire.
Both players are purchases of Solskjaer’s so it’s safe to say he’s made the right call with both transfers.
If United are to keep up their good form it’s clear to see they’ll need Bruno fresh and fit to get anywhere.
